Cookie Policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

This policy explains how Aphily, Inc. ("Aphily", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on aphily.com (the "Site"): what they are, which ones the Site uses, why, and how you can control them. It covers this Site only, not the Aphily app at app.aphily.com.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage and session storage, do the same job in a different place. In this policy, "cookies" means all of them.

First-party cookies are set by aphily.com. Third-party cookies are set by another company's domain, for example when we embed that company's service on our page.

Cookies we use

When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow two optional categories: Analytics and Booking calendar. Nothing in either category loads until you choose, and both stay off if you reject them or close the page without choosing.

Strictly necessary

One cookie remembers the choice you make in the banner, so we don't ask again on every page. It is always on.

Analytics (optional)

These cookies load only if you allow Analytics. They help us understand how people find and use the Site: which pages they visit, where they came from, how far they scroll, which questions they open, and whether they open the booking calendar and book a meeting. We also use them to see which of our marketing brings visitors who go on to book.

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager (which sets no cookies of its own), and PostHog. PostHog also records session replays (a reconstruction of how the page was used, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement), page errors and page speed. Session replays do not include the booking calendar, which runs in a separate Calendly frame.

_gaGoogle AnalyticsTells one visitor apart from another so visits can be counted.Up to 2 years
_ga_<ID>Google AnalyticsKeeps track of the current visit (session).Up to 2 years
ph_<key>_posthogPostHogRandom ID for your browser and current visit. Stored as a cookie and in local storage.1 year

Performance, without cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how fast the Site loads. They do not use cookies and do not identify you.

Booking calendar (Calendly, optional)

The "Book a demo" calendar is provided by Calendly, LLC. If you allow Booking calendar, the Site loads the calendar in the background as soon as a page loads, so it opens instantly. If you don't, it loads only when you click "Book a demo". Either way, once the calendar loads, Calendly and the services it relies on can set their own cookies on their own domains. In our checks these included:

__cf_bmCloudflare, on calendly.comTells people apart from bots.30 minutes
_cfuvidCloudflare, on calendly.comRate limiting and abuse protection.Until you close the browser
OptanonConsentOneTrust, on calendly.comStores your cookie choices for Calendly.1 year
mStripe, on m.stripe.comFraud prevention.Up to 2 years
reCAPTCHAGoogle, on recaptcha.netSpam and abuse protection for the booking form.Set by Google

The calendar also loads Calendly's own analytics tools. Calendly controls these cookies and decides how they are used; its Privacy Notice explains them. If you book a meeting, the details you enter go to Calendly and to us so the meeting can take place. Our analytics only record that a booking happened, not what you entered.

Where the data goes

Google, PostHog, Vercel, Calendly, Stripe and Cloudflare are based in, or process this data in, the United States. If you visit from outside the US, information collected through these cookies, such as your IP address, device and browser details and the pages you view, may be transferred to and processed in the US.

Your choices

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Cookie settings, which is also linked at the bottom of every page. If you turn off Analytics, we delete the analytics cookies stored on aphily.com and reload the page.

Most browsers also let you see, block and delete cookies, or block only third-party cookies. You will usually find these settings under Privacy or Security. Blocking cookies does not stop the Site from working, though the booking calendar may not load if Calendly's cookies are blocked.

You can also stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Content blockers and private browsing modes stop most of the analytics described here.

To ask about, or ask us to delete, data collected through these cookies, email info@aphily.com.

Changes to this policy

When the cookies we use change, we will update this page and the date at the top.
